"My work moves between hand-building and the wheel, shaped by heritage and curiosity in equal measure. I draw on my Indian heritage, traditional forms and motifs, and then push them through techniques that don’t fully cooperate: wood firing, Obvara, Raku. Each has its own will; I shape the clay, but the fire finishes the piece.

Texture is where I keep returning: carved lines, pressed patterns, surfaces that hold the memory of the hand. Travel feeds my work too; I seek out studios, markets, and antique shops wherever I go. I’m delighted to open my studio for MAST and share this process."
