"I want my paintings to convey a feeling of joy and whimsy. My art is a representation of the beauty I see in the world around me as I reduce the subject to its most elemental and powerful components and invite the viewer to step into my world. I am especially inspired by the magnificent Texas landscape, which is primarily composed of our beautiful sky! I spend much time outdoors hiking and painting en plein air, and I primarily love painting clouds and sunsets."
