"Whether my own vision or a commissioned painting, I want to capture and present to you the essence or “soul” of the subject or narrative. In my paintings, I combine realism with stylistic techniques. Focusing the attention on the spirit of the animal (like a totem), I intrigue the viewer into a narrative. I primarily paint with acrylic, but also work with multiple mediums."
