"My artwork is rooted in a lifelong relationship with imagination and exploration. Growing up in rural Texas, the outdoors became my first canvas, where cedar tree groves transformed into fortresses and the dirt became a playground. That same curiosity resurfaced when I discovered UV resin and began asking, What if? Rather than using resin as a protective glaze, I treat it as a sculptural medium, manipulating it to create three-dimensional depth within mixed-media works. By challenging conventional expectations of resin, I explore the space between structure and imagination, inviting viewers to rediscover curiosity, wonder, and the possibilities of creative exploration."
