Bloom Galleries, the creative inspiration brought to life from Dr. Cortney Baker, is a unique retail and online boutique born from joy, resilience, and the belief that creativity has the power to heal and connect. What began in January 2024 as a small, mother-daughter jewelry-making project in Cortney’s home quickly grew into something far greater. Cortney, a stroke survivor, award-winning CEO, former Texas Business Woman of the Year, wife, and mother of 3, had already discovered the life-giving joy of art after years of leading in the healthcare world. As a pediatric speech-language pathologist, she’d created KidsCare Home Health, a nationally awarded pediatric home health company in 2003. But when Covid hit the world in 2020, she dove headfirst into the world of art. With each piece she created, she found a new kind of homecoming—to her faith, her family, and herself. That same spirit of renewal and creativity became the heartbeat of Bloom.

Now, in our growing studio at the Cotton Mill, Bloom is no longer just a mother-daughter dream, but a flourishing community of artists and makers. Together, we create jewelry, artwork, and meaningful pieces that travel into the hands and hearts of women and people everywhere. And as we grow, our mission deepens. At present, we are partnering with Treasured Vessels Foundation who provide Christ-centered safe communities and to walk alongside survivors of sexual exploitation, helping them discover their own creative gifts and learn to thrive as entrepreneurs.
