"I came to visual art after a lifelong, intermittent relationship with music that never felt entirely my own. A pencil sketch of my grandfathers and, later, a simple watercolor set opened a path that has become a lasting pursuit. Each attempt to capture the posture of an animal, the shifting light of a landscape, or the presence of a stranger presents both challenge and lesson. Success and failure are equally valuable. Through observation, technical growth, and honest self-expression, I seek to move beyond comfort and certainty, finding creativity in the space where curiosity, fear, and possibility meet."
