"I thrive on experimentation, so my work is always changing. I try to make simple forms that grow complex textures and have surfaces that reflect light and shadow in random ways. Sometimes my pieces are off-center or defy commonly accepted rules of beauty. I primarily create decorative or non-functional clay things. I love happenstance results and I'm often driven by the question 'What if?' I work with pixels by day and clay at night. Playing with clay is what keeps me grounded."
