Pam Ewell is a mixed media artist from McKinney. Pam creates layered compositions that convey depth with vivid colors. She enjoys using a variety of techniques including collage, spray paint, inks, acrylics, and oils. Her portrait series draws inspiration from the complexity of women, reflecting moments of strength, vulnerability, and introspection. She also enjoys artwork portraying lovely bits of nature, such as florals and birds, as well as abstracts. She is currently exploring a series based on the Japanese art of Kintsugi, whereby broken objects are fashioned back together with gold and viewed as more beautiful than its original form.
