"My background is in printmaking where I fell in love with inks, papers and the processes involved in creating lithographs and intaglios. Today I am a mixed media artist working with pen, ink washes, and watercolor on paper. I lean into detail, but ink and watercolor are my collaborators as they often have a mind of their own. I would like those who view my work to find the story in the ink strokes and color washes, but also sense a little whimsy in the process and creation."
