“Whimsical art for the young at heart!” is Kim's motto. It’s the thread that runs through her multiple styles, whether realism or impressionism. She constantly challenges herself with new themes and mediums, as if giving herself school assignments in her unconventional downtown McKinney studio. She’s mainly a painter, using bright colors and an array of palette knives to move the buttery paint in organic strokes. Her love of texture spills over to 3D sculptures using Paper Mache. Through God-given talent, hustle, and honest business practices, she has been blessed to be a self-sustaining, professional artist for the last 35+ years.
