My exploration of clay along with mixed media has inspired a wide range of creative works. I draw on my love for old things of all kinds to craft individual pieces that carry an echo of another time and place. Encaustic collages are a vehicle for my fascination with ephemera - the stories vintage items can tell and the ways that pieces of history mesh with present reality to reveal unexpected beauty. Many of my collage and pottery pieces feature a juxtaposition of items I love for their design features - details that resonate with whispers of the past repurposed.
